It is one of the most important FAI F3M contest in Europe, where I came no more than two times (school!!!) This year with the F3P French Championship and my last school exam just before, the World Air Game one week later, I needed my friend Pascal Rousseau motived and helped me to come, thanks to him.
The 30-31st May before the end of the Indoor season, the F3M season was already started with the Cup of Paris. Sylvain Lansardière(left) and Gilles Astre(Usually Gilou, right) have launched the CDP in 2003 with some friends, this year they helped Pascal Rousseau for the organisation. Don't worry, they don't up their hands in the air to slap bad pilots!!!
Six Belgium pilots in International!!! May be the first round of an unofficial Franco-Belgium fight???
Wislaw Chmielewski from Poland and Franz Kogler from Austria were the two other foreign pilots, Organisators limited pilots to 25, It wasn't easy to have a place.
The classification was automatically uploaded on http://www.grossevoltige.com, and sometimes we saw the result on Iphone before than on our score sheet!!. The real time system was set up by Julien Devillers(The coach on the right).
The wind was also on the airfield and we didn't make top flights during the week-end and without enough training I entered very slowly in the contest.... The Belgium, Brice Jacquemin made the two best known sequences, Arnaud Lehnen (left) and I won both an Unknown sequence. So the freestyle devided Arnaud, Brice and me for the podium!!! Unfortunately the engine of Brice cut off after the take off and he landed out the airfield. For my part maybe I made too many 3D manoeuvres!!! And Arnaud flew well with his experience and won the contest, congratulation Parisian!
Pascal and Sandrine Rousseau (left), thanks for their hospitality and welcome.
News clothes from Aerobertics and Espace-Modeles.
Two new faces in the F3M familly, welcome to them ;-)
First outdoor contest for my dad this season.....wake-up!
My friend Frank Ridoux and his new YAK55M from krill-model, all of his propeller screws were broken during a flight and he didn't lose his prop!!!
Tuning sticker in the yak of Gerald...
Klauss Dettmer(left) the EAC coordinator was on the airfield all along the week-end.
