This is my last event report in 2010...the season was long and now I must spend time to my study!!! So, to the last competition I was invited at the 2nd edition of the ITOC in Itlay which was held on the beautifull polo culb of Monte Argentario at the north of Roma.

My father who is my coach most of time was realy busy with his job and had no chance to come with me...and you know how much a coatch is important into your succes of a competition...and when I was looking for a new one

David Netzer alias "La Nedz" proposed me to come!!! After some years off for him, this trip was his come back ;-)

The contest director Mario Silvagni, explained us during the brefing what is the mean concept of this new contest...he wants combine as much as possible the freestyle and pattern flights to make the event attractive for pilots and spectators. He uses also a new system of classification which is based on direct qualification from round to round, but all points from the qualification rounds to the final  rounds are take into the final result!!!  It is hard to explain all, but most are explain into www.itoc.it For final pilots we flew 10 flights, 5 freestyle and 5 pattern included 2 unknown which were very hard. Fly 10 competition flights into 2 days is a really hard challenge for pilot and coach....and a lot of work, i can say it was one of the hardest and strongest competition which I did!

This is a short presentation of the top 9.

1st place Gernot Bruckman the new soldiers...he flew with a great regularity from the begining to the end of the competition and won all rounds, what more??  he used two planes, one for freestyle powered by a DA170 and the other one for pattern is powered by the DA200 which makes a very low level of noise....maybe it is an alternative solution for the growing trouble of noise!

The DA200, you can see the engine deflector which is realy important for a four cylinders.

2nd place Mr Sebastiano Selvestry the owner and designer of Sebart compagny, he used the last version of the Suhkoi 29 from Krill-Models with a 220c from mintor....for sure the most powered airplane of the competition. By his great experience he flew with a good regularity through the competition.
