PART 4:

MX2 of Steph Arnold who won the etoc 2009, he used it for freestyle with VPP.
Gernot used a YAK 55 M upgrade with airbrake for pattern. Jason Noll used also a Yak 55M for his freestyle routine.
Yak 55M of Andrew Jesky.
The gymnasium before contest, Greg Poppel and Darry Bell the announcers, two very fun and cool guys...who work each night to have not nervous atmosphere;-)
The four top pilots in the final, Gernot Bruckmann, Jason Noll, Andrew Jesky and Steph Arnold. Finally the etoc 2009 champion is Steph Arnold.
Bruckmann won a price for the best Know Sequence overall the contest and Jason Noll for the best freestyle overall the contest.
You can find here the final result, for me with the third best know (989pt) in semi-finale, my low freestyle point don't allow me to keep my 6th place and I ended at the 8th place. I collect for you some links from youtube, you can see it under this sentence, but if you want see more and with HD quality I advise you to see Higher Plane Production video with flightpass, quality and tidying up are very good and easy to watch, and the boss Fred has also a good joke to you in many video... Etoc 2009 was a great experience to improve my skill flight and for sure it will help me in the future and for the next season. I want also thanks all guys who help for this trip, my parents, Cyrille for the last training, Gérard Sandrine and Pascal for their hospitality in Paris, Julien for his support during all the week in USA. You can also find HERE all my pictures. PART 3: We are now in Toledo, Tuesday morning where we visited the Toledo Show, very nice expo with many giant scale aerobatic planes...
Julien has already find his two new planes...
This evening the ETOC2009 begin at 6pm, sorry but I haven't many pictures to show you. You can find here the result of preliminary round. Tomorrow, the top 8 pilots will fly in semi-finale and the top 4 in finale. For my part, I am actually at the 6th place and I can fly tomorrow in semi-final, but I crashed my plane during the second freestyle.
PART 2: While I was learning the etoc sequence my father built a new box to carry my planes...
But, who are the guys in the box?....the Donuts team and my friend Donatas!!! They came with me ;-)
Last week end, I was in Paris for training in a large hall (Thanks Cyrille for this two nice days), it was also good time to meet my friends, Jérome, Gérard, Gérald and the Rousseau's family. Monday I put my planes in the box in the Donuts shop (look at a part of the Elipsia stock....)
Tuesday, after 8 flight hours we arrived in Chicago Airport, rent a car and drove 5 hours to go to our hotel in Detroit.
Today Wednesday, without hall to practice, we went to see buildings on morning.
This afternoon we visited the Henry Ford Museum, It is a very intersting museum where we saw also some nice planes.

I was introduced to the team organisator (Kathy Starkey and Tom Kroggel) by my friend Donatas Pauzuolis. Of course Donatas was also invited, but he can't come, because he has some paper troubles...
Etoc will take place the 3-4th April in Toledo, in the south of Detroit. In fact three events will take place along the same week-end in Toledo, the ETOC, the E-Fly and the Toledo R/C show. E-Fly is an indoor show with airplane and helicopter. E-Fly and Etoc will be under the same roof in three different gymnasiums, one for E-Toc, one for fix-wing plane E-Fly and the last for helicopter E-Fly. You can find more information about the E-Fly here. The R/C show will be near the gymnasiums, you can see more about the expo here, I advise you to read the exhibitors list and you will want to come!!!
