Currently in UK for my studies I was in France last week-end (20-21 February) for an F3P international contest in Paris, the IITOP...

Some years after the end of the famous French contest in Carvin, Loic Haux and Nicolas Pietu decided to do a new event with the main goal to push the F3P category and assemble all top indoor pilots. Most european top pilots were here except Gernot Bruckmann, Dennis Horn, and some others!

After a quiet winter for me because I am in the UK for some months(where I am trying to improve my english ;-)) it was a good opportunity to see some friends.

Martin Muller took part in pattern with a very interesting plane made some days before the contest...

It was made with a new type of depron covered by a film (Mylar) with a take off weight around 80g!!! The weight of mylar is no more than 5% of the depron!

Donatas was here with his two own designs, the Deluxe V3 which is now produced by Donuts-Model and his new Arrow, He also prepared a really crazy new freestyle routine with so many new VPP trick!!!

One more time a really interesting plane from Hungary, with a full wood airframe...the weight ???? 150g!!! As for me with depron!!! I think, he can have extra points because flying in a aerobatic contest with a such complexe airframe is quite dangerous....for me sure!!!

Christophe Lauseberg with his own design the Helix, it may not be one of the smartest shapes in the hall but for sure one of the most efficient.

Aeromusical podium, it looks like at Turino in June 2009! It was again so close between Martin, Donatas and Me

All the Donuts Team at the end of a long weekend!!! But a very good weekend for the Donuts team which is now led by the new boss Sebastien Guillaume. We obtained the first class in each class ;-) So I can not believe that Sebastien doesn't enjoy this result!

I am now back in UK for the week after 5h hour of waiting in Roissy Charle de Gaulles Airport!!!! Now I have some days to take rest without flights and thursday we will be again in France for the French Championship....if Easyjet wants it, of course!!!!
