After the IITOP and a short week in UK , we got back to France for the last French contest: The F3P French Championship at Limoges, after a high peak of stress thanks to the air traffic staff who went on strike for some reason.... we arrived in Paris to take my car and went down to Limoges after 5 hours of drive..

In France Limoges is a city famous for two things, the first one is the porcelain. Ok, no link with RC-Plane but the trophies for French champions were in porcelain!!!

The other famous thing in Limoges is its famous basket ball team, which has won many championships, 9 times french champions and 1 time the european champion and we were in their Basket-Ball Hall for the championship ;-)

Before the beginning of the contest  one record was broken: the number of pilots: 57!!! More than in 2009 at Chartres, where we were 49....and once again I met so many new pilots in this weekend..It is proof of the F3P is  becoming more and more popular...

The organising club was the  ACL du Limousin, presided by Bernard Taupin(Left). The sportive part was achieved by Pascal Blauel with success.

With 57 pilots you have to wait for doing a training flight!!!

Another proof of the increasing of popularity is the media who were in the championship...

As usual the Donuts-Team was leading all the weekend and was the main sponsor this french championship...and result was very good, the three first places in Aeromusical, the two first places in Promotion and first place in International, What else?
